Costumes and critters and food oh my!

I entertained Jeb with a costume show this afternoon since I have a minimum of 4 events, possibly 5, coming up that I will need a costume for and would like help picking the best few.  Jeb took pictures so you can help too if you don’t mind awfully…

What’s your favorite(s)?

Phoebe was just exhausted helping me select costumes.  She tucked herself right in amid them on the bed:

A friend at work asked me to post a picture of my ornery little salamander the other day, so here he is for Julie:

And here’s what I made for dinner tonight: Beefy casserole.

This is what went into it:

First I boiled the elbow macaroni and then dumped it in a colander.  Then I put a 2 TBSP of olive oil in the emptied pot and added the pepper stir-fry, sautéing it until it was nicely tender.  Then I added the beef tips with gravy, the chilies, the condensed cream of mushroom soup, and a handful of cheese.  I stirred and cooked it on medium low until it was bubbly and well heated through.  Last, I stirred in the macaroni.  It was so good!  Just the right thing for a rainy, windy, October night.

When are you guys going to show me your costumes?

About Ampbreia

I'm an ex-Pentacostal, ex-Muslim, ecclectic Agnostic with slightly Wiccan leanings. I am not affiliated with any organized religion or political platform, but I do believe in magic and all things wise and wonderful. I work as an admin in a calibration lab. I've published 2 books so far this year: Lost in Foreign Passions: Love and betrayal, passion and loss in the heart of an alien land (a memoir of my time as a Muslimah and living in Iran for a year), written under my previous married name, Debra Kamza, and Dream Lover (a paranormal romance, the tale of witch that summons her favorite character out of a Bewitched spin-off and the actor who plays him as well). I'm constantly writing stories and poems, thoughts and dreams, and quite a few opinions - many of which are not popular but oh well. Bite me. I'm interested in art, animals, the paranormal, and people. I love to dance, all sorts, but have been studying belly dance since 2006 and LOVE it! I love anime too and love dressing up and going to conventions. My writing runs the gummut of historical, science fiction, fantasy, romance, and erotica. Beware: I may not be safe reading for work. Just saying....

But there’s only 6 costumes, LOL. And I know. I thought of Coco when I saw Phoebe in the shelter the day I got her and she came chatting forward to greet me.
