Beliefs: I’m an ex-pentecostal, ex-Muslim, eclectic Agnostic with slightly Wiccan leanings.  I don’t believe in religion.  I consider it an artificial and oft troublesome construct for controlling the masses.  I do believe in magic and things wise and wonderful, that our essential selves are timeless and eternal, continually reborn at our choice, that words have power to create or destroy, and that all things are connected on the spiritual level.  Think we have some of those beliefs in common?  Good!  Just don’t try to evangelize me or threaten me with your beliefs in Hellfire because I’m apt to consider that an annoyance at best, a grievous insult at worst.  Let’s just agree to disagree on some points even if we agree on many others.  The real person lies below their professed beliefs.

Education Level: Bachelor of Arts and Science.  Majored in Social Anthropology but took lots of admin and writing courses as well.

Interests: Anime, magic, paranormal, the natural world, animals, religion, history, archaeology, and people in general.

Job: I’m an admin and QA in an aerospace calibration laboratory.  My husband works with me, but he’s a cal tech, not an admin.

Pastimes: I’m constantly writing: essays, history pieces, anthropological studies, paranormal issues, romance, fantasy, science fiction, erotica, poetry, and dream journaling.  I redecorate my terrariums and aquarium regularly.  It’s a creative outlet for me and keeps the species that wouldn’t ordinarily get along with one another from getting territorial and fighting.  I like to hike and explore.  I dream of spelunking and hang gliding but don’t have the opportunities.  I love to dance, all sorts, but especially belly dancing, which I’ve been learning with Rishi of Rishi’s Egypt since 2006.  I just love the sensuality, rhythms, and grace of it.  I also love the costumes!

I have seen an article about female genital mutilation in Saudi Arabia posted repeatedly over the years on message boards like this one:http://www.armchairgeneral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45270 It seems to reference you as the source of the article (www.ampbreia.com). Do you know anything about this? Is it an internet hoax? If not, is there any way to establish the authenticity or provenance? Thanks!

Can I prove it? No. There are articles and video that come out of Saudi Arabia that are never published in their own media because they could be read as criticism of Islam or the Saudi government which, as anyone must know, tends to behead people for. Saudi women pass these things to me now and then. I pass them onto the internet if I have reason to believe they might be true, as I believe is the case this time. Read the Koran and hadith (traditions of the Prophet) and fatihah (opinions of clerics) on which Sharia (Islamic law) is based and you will see for yourself how possible, even likely, these things are in Saudi society. Take a look at the news for that matter. Organizations like ISIL, Hamas, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, ect. are all purely Islam-based terror groups and traders of human flesh. The Saudis aren’t much different. But don’t, in any case, base judgement on one article. Google the internet for the terms mentioned and you will find many articles. Look up slavery in Islam, sex-slaves, female circumcision, etc. You’ll see.
